Have confidence that it will arrive in perfect playing shape and ready to go for the long haul. We adjusted all the key action and replaced any pads and material that were starting to age. We did a complete disassembly, cleaning, and adjustment on it. It also has the original gold plated Norton springs and original amber rollers. This horn arrived to us in good pads, fitted with all of the original metal Buescher snaps. The original neck, with underslung octave key, has never been damaged or pulled down. The sax came to us with a couple minor dings in the bottom bow, which we also removed. These have been professionally repaired in our shop, and show only minor lacquer loss from the work. The bell lip was bent down in one spot previously, and the bell-to-body brace was pushed in to the bell. The original lacquer looks fantastic, and the horn shows only a few past repairs. This tenor has obviously been well cared for over the years. This horn hails from the peak of Buescher's ingenuity, and is probably the best jazz horn they ever made. This tenor looks fantastic with greater than 90% original lacquer intact.
